2D and concept art

So in our lesson on 17/09 I created a new character for a 2D character in a real life scene. His name’s Larry, and he has a space suit and eyeball for a head. The thing is, I did some fine-tuning on the Apple Mac’s at College, but the progress didn’t carry over although I saved in OneDrive. Strange. I’m going to see if there’s any way I can get my progress onto the NextGen PC’s from OneDrive.

In addition to Larry the ‘Spaceball’, I gave him a friend. The new character is named Chad, he is a biker who hides something more bizarre below the visor. He and his friend (who I am yet to design) meet up in ‘Bruh Burger’, a fast food restaurant which I have edited to make more fitting with the surroundings, as well as evading Burger King copyright infringement.

Chad, the biker

I managed to implement Chad here into a scene I made. Sadly I couldn’t find an image from a table view so I created my own table prop in Photoshop,

Chad at BruhBurger, version 1.

I have created and fully finished a businesswoman character named Lily, and integrated her into the back of the scene I have been making.

Here is the most recent version of the fast food restaurant I have made, it includes all three characters I have integrated so far and I may be able to squeeze in another two– not that I need to, however, this is just sketches for ideas.

Speaking of extra designs, I ran out of original ideas; so I made a demonic version of myself. I doubt I’ll end up using this in the future but it’s a cool idea and sketch non the less.

Dan is a demonic person who likes doing bad things, so I placed him in front of a burning gas station to reflect this characters attitude.

Meet Dan.

Designs for a final character have been made! Her name is Nebula and she is heavily inspired by Daft Punk, space and stuff. Might draw her on a motorbike later.

I edited Nebula to make her lean against a wall to fit with the pose she is striking in the artwork.

I added Nebula into the bruh burger scene as well to widen the scene a little bit.

Hopefully I’ll be able to animate this scene in the future, to make it more lively. Also need to shuffle Lily along as Nebula is locking her from view.
